6th January

The party decides to head north-west this time. They notice large wolf tracks, possibly from dire wolves. Arguing among themselves, they decide follow the tracks to locate the wolf-den.

They estimate that about 20 wolves live inside a hillside cave. The party makes a note of its location but decides to not engage the wolves and instead continue onwards to the north-west.

A few hours after midday Rosie notices something unusual: A large rock that is shaped like a lion on the hunt. They decide to continue, after resting for a few minutes.

During the afternoon, they see a structure before them: A tower, at least five levels high. It is built from sandstone, but in an unusual S-shaped form. Rosie is pretty sure, that this is a wizards tower. Since they don’t know if the wizard is friendly or not, they are unsure if its a good idea to approach. After all, a wizard that owns a tower is almost certainly very powerfull. Upon closer inspection, they notice balistas on top of the tower - tilted upwards as if to repel a flying attacker.

The party argues a bit and then decides to ask about the wizards tower the next time they are in town.

Since there is still a bit of daylight left, they decide to head further north-west.

They reach a ruined building - not enough is left to determine what it once was - but they notice a trapdoor leading down. Since it is evening and they are tired from travelling all day, they decide to camp inside the ruin and head down the trapdoor tomorrow.
